Writing poetry as a serious effort is a fairly recent adventure for me. I find it to be an excellent way to relax, and also a way to find a part of me that needs to be released. Ideally, there are no hidden agendas to complicate the scene, only words that flow from the greatest Muse of all, the greatest Poet of all, the great Creator of all.
My life's primary pastime, even as a child, has always been working close to the soil, since I grew up on a farm. Most of my adult life, I have been an organic farmer and gardener. These efforts are no more financially rewarding than those of a poet, but they are equally rewarding, both physically and mentally. My hope is that when you read my poems, it will pique your inner curiosity to allow you to blossom with the greatest growth of your best potential.

Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of the life of your vanity, which He has given you under the sun, all the days of your vanity: for that is your portion in this life, and in your labor which you take under the sun.
King Solomon in Ecclesiastes 9:9
